Things to do in St Marys

While just a suburb, St Marys has tons of great activities located just moments away. Whether you’re by yourself, with your parents, or you have the entire extended family in tow, you’ll never run out of new things to try in the area, including:

St Marys sits roughly 45 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, and is named after the parish church of St Mary Magdalene that was constructed between 1837 and 1840. While St Marys provides great tourist activities in every direction, the main commercial district is located primarily on Queen Street, with some shops along Railway Street, and the Great Western Highway, including the St Marys Village Shopping Centre, the Station Plaza, and a number of nice hotels. Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park

This is considered Sydney’s ultimate hands-on wildlife experience, and you can even come here to pet a Koala. With over 2,00 mammals, their extensive collection of Australian species is just moments away from your fingertips. Feed Kangaroos and Wallabies, and gawk at the enormous saltwater Crocodiles.
